Farther Together

\nTrue progress often arises from collective action and the synergy of diverse talents and perspectives working towards a common purpose. While individual effort may yield quick results, it is through collaboration and mutual support that greater accomplishments are attained.

\nFurthermore, Jewish tradition teaches that a cord of three strands can't be easily broken.  My mom is one of three sisters, I am one of three sisters, and I have three daughters.  Sisterhood has been my sanity check, my place for understanding myself and making sense of my immediate world.  I see my daughters in this painting, making their way through the world long after I'm no longer in the picture.  It is both my experience and my hope, a memory and a vision of the future.
